Recently, several team members from QDivision had the opportunity to visit and tour the Peter & Paul Community Services Emergency Shelter, which provides 60 beds for men experiencing homelessness in St. Louis, Missouri. This organization offers not only emergency shelter services, but also a meals program, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and collaborate support through local artists.
“When Peter and Paul Community Services issued a call to action in St. Louis to #spreadthewarmth, the team at QDivision put our creative minds to work. How could we connect with the homeless community in a meaningful way? As a technology company with strong ties to the software development community, the signature hoodie came to mind. A single article of clothing that was heavy enough to provide warmth but lightweight enough to roll up and stick in a backpack. When we reached out to PPCS to discuss the idea, they were eager to work with us.” Jaime Winkler, QDivision Director of Product

“Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
QDivision donated 247 hoodies to Peter & Paul to show our support and to give back to our St. Louis community.
During their visit, the team learned the beds at Peter & Paul Community Services Emergency Shelter are 100% occupied every night of the year and most nights they are turning men away. They also learned of the meals program this organization runs across from the shelter that feeds up to 200 men, women and children (both low income and homeless) to which the donated Q hoodies would go to that very night.
QDivision is proud to have a positive impact on our local community and we are grateful to work for a company that cares. Founded in 2017, QDivision exists to disrupt the standard, discover possibilities, and deliver solutions that are customer-focused, efficient, user-friendly, and beneficial to the transportation and moving industries. #LetsMove
